First Communion sessions are a dream. The weather is turning warmer, the trees are in bloom and the sweet little girls I get to work with are adorable. Meredith was completely at ease in front of the camera. I think her personality shines through in these images. So happy I was able to capture memories of her special day.

Newborn sessions have a magical quality. I love all the sweet little details I can capture.....chubby cheeks, pouty lips and tiny little fingers and toes. This sweet little baby was 11 days old at the time of our session and was a dream. We took a few parent-child images at the end of the session as the baby was stirring. Very sweet interactions. After a full week of sleet ad snow, it was wonderful to resume my outdoor sessions among the Spring Blossoms. We traveled down into Salt Lake Valley for a beautiful session at Sugarhouse Park. Here's a sampling of Kalynn's First Communion session. I've know Kalynn since she was in Preschool and am amazed at how she is the perfect combination of tough and athletic and sweet and graceful.

Such an amazing newborn session! Sweet Lewin was 11 days old at the time of this session. I took these newborn images in his home on a beautiful afternoon. I used gorgeous natural light streaming through sliding glass doors. His older siblings waited patiently for their turn for photos and were absolutely precious.

I was so excited when I learned my friends Mike and Amy were expecting. Mostly because I knew they were going to be fabulous parents, but also because I knew they would let me build my maternity portfolio and experiment with them. I was right! They slushed through knee-deep snow on a local trail with me to find the perfect light. And they let me experiment with poses until I felt I had captured their loving and fun relationship perfectly!
