Double Holiday Session

Elaine contacted me to take some family photos for her while her family was visiting for the holidays. She requested indoor photos at her home in Trailside. She also inquired if I could take photos for a family friend as a gift on the same afternoon and I agreed. For the first set of photos, I used natural light streaming in from the windows and arranged the family around their Christmas tree. For the second set of photos, we decided to brave the cold and hold our session outdoors, despite the wind and chilly temperatures. We found a location with a the pretty snowy backdrop, which was a lovely compliment to their color palate. We worked quickly due to the chilly temperature. Here's a little peek at the images.
